Because our computer doubles as our TV, that means our desk doubles as our entertainment center. And with the layout of our new apartment, we found it was a difficult task to find the perfect desk for the space.
Our solution? Build our own!
Here it is:
Evan worked SO hard on it, spending several weekends in his brothers shop, and staying up late each night so he could surprise me with it's completion when I came home from Utah. What a sweetie head!
I pretty much LOVE it! Evan designed it to fit all our stuff perfectly. The keyboard tray pulls out on rollers, as well as the tray for our scanner on the left. Fancy Schmancy right? But even more impressive, is the fact that he also built the computer! Wigga whaaa?
Not to brag or anything, but my husband is the coolest.

37 Weeks
Welp... we made it! Full term :) I'm feeling great, with no sign of delivering this baby any time soon.
I still have a million things to do before she comes, and I'm glad for it, because it keeps me from sitting around, twiddling my thumbs and counting down the hours. We haven't even started on her nursery yet! These last three weeks are going to fly by!

Ayla at 35 weeks
We got some fun pictures of Ayla at our 35 week ultrasound! Still sportin' the big nose. But we think she's pretty dang cute.

Ayla's Mobile
I decided to do a handmade mobile for Ayla's nursery. Including all the materials for the craft and the music-box motor it only cost me 13 dollars! Woot! Twice the cuteness at half the price. Good thing I have lots of spare time on my hands.

Catching Up
Evan and I both graduated with our Bachelor's degrees from BYU Idaho! I can still hardly believe it's true. I have practically been a student my whole life, and I have loved it! Now I have to figure out what to do with myself in the real world.
Evan graduated in construction management with a minor in business, and I graduated in art with a minor in communications. Also, somehow I managed to graduate in the top 5% of our class!
The week of finals was one of the hardest of my life. Despite getting the flu shot at my last OB appointment, I didn't manage to escape the bug. For over a week, I am pretty sure I exceeded the maximum amount of Tylenol, just trying to find enough relief to function. But I survived! And I was able to finish all of my work (miracles happen).
Besides the flu and finals, that last week was made even more chaotic by our recent decision to move to Boise. The Wednesday before graduation,we made the 5 hour drive to Boise to look for an apartment. We found one and we love it! But I'll post more about that later...
Thursday we drove back to the burg, and Friday we spent the day packing up everything we own before attending graduation that night. My parents came up to support us, and on Saturday they helped us finish packing and cleaning our apartment (they SAVED us!) By noon we were on our way back to Boise! Monday we drove to Utah to catch our flight to Pennsylvania for the holidays. (20 hours driving in less than a week).
I didn't document our time in Pennsylvania very well, but it'll suffice to say that we enjoyed 10 days of much needed R&R. We had an endless supply of delicious foods and we got out and did some fun things! Probably my favorite was going to see the Longwood Gardens [photo dump]

We had a VERY merry Christmas, and hope you did too!

Quick Pic
A LOT has happened lately. Evan found a job, we graduated, moved to Boise, and visited Pennsylvania for the holidays.
But right now... I don't feel like blogging about it all.
So here's a picture of my belly.
28 weeks! 3rd trimester!
We are so excited for Ayla Rae to make her debut... but we haven't bought a thing, so she'd better hang in there and give me the entire 12 weeks to get ready!
