Tony Grove

Evan and I went on our first (real) camping trip together! We joined my family (my entire immediate family, as well as some extended family) at Tony Grove for a lovely, relaxing retreat. Evan had a grand ol' time fishing with my family, and I loved relaxing by the lake. It was a perfect little outing after the first week of school. It's really too bad we had to come back!

Pennsylvania is for Pennsylvanians

Good news :) I booked a flight home in August for Jason's wedding and other family festivities! Wooooo!

I can't say I'm a huge fan of Pennsylvania. It just... isn't home. Also, there are many large and extremely disturbing insects living in our house. They don't make the best company while Evan's gone to work. However, we're trying to make the most of our time here. Last weekend we made a trip out to New York to see the Hill Cumorah Pageant.  

It was spectacular.

Stephen and Cheryl came with.

We slept in a tent.

We did a session in the Palmyra temple.

And we saw other Palmyra sites including the Smith Family property, Sacred Grove and the print shop where the First edition of the Book of Mormon was printed.
